# Roxor South Excavation Equipment Fleet

Excavation isn't a one-machine job. Below is a rundown of the equipment Roxor South Excavation runs and what each piece does on a typical project. The right machine on the right day is what keeps a job on schedule and on grade.

## Tracked Excavator

*30,000–80,000 lb class*

Our primary digging iron. Reaches deep for basements and footings, swings wide for mass site cuts, and stacks structural boulders for retaining walls. Tracks let it work on slopes and soft ground other machines can't touch.

## Crawler Dozer

*Mid-size class with 6-way blade*

Spreads, cuts, and rough-grades faster than anything else on the site. We use the dozer to balance cuts and fills, push spoils, knock down brush, and rough-shape building pads before the laser grader takes over.

## Skid Steer Loader

*Tracked, with multi-attachment package*

The Swiss army knife of the fleet. Bucket, forks, hydraulic breaker, trencher, and grader attachments. Squeezes into tight residential backyards where the big iron won't fit, finishes grade around foundations, and handles cleanup work.

## Tandem Dump Truck

*Triaxle, ~16-yard capacity*

Hauls export dirt off the site and brings structural fill, road base, and rock back in. Our own truck means the job doesn't sit waiting on a third-party hauler when we hit a hard rock seam or need to swap out a load of bad dirt fast.

## Water Truck

*2,000-gallon spray tank*

Dust control on dry Southern Utah sites and moisture conditioning for compaction. Bone-dry caliche won't compact — the water truck conditions the dirt to optimum moisture so the sheepsfoot can lock it down to engineer specs.

## Sheepsfoot Roller

*Vibratory padfoot drum*

Compacts structural fill in lifts to engineered density. The padded drum kneads cohesive soils — clays and silts — into a uniform, unyielding base that won't settle under the weight of a foundation or roadway.

## Wheel Loader

*Mid-size articulated, large bucket*

Loads trucks fast and moves big piles of material across the site. Used for stockpiling, loading export hauls out of the dig, and feeding rock to the excavator on retaining-wall builds.
