# Over-Ex & Soil Stabilization — Southern Utah Excavation

> Removing bad dirt and compacting structural fill.

Sometimes the ground you own isn't the ground you can build on. Collapsible soils and expansive clays will destroy a foundation. We perform mass over-excavation—digging out the bad dirt—and replace it with imported structural fill or moisture-conditioned native soils, compacted in lifts with heavy sheepsfoot rollers to create an unyielding base.

## What we typically include

- Mass removal of unsuitable native soils
- Moisture conditioning of dirt
- Import of engineered structural fill
- Placement in controlled lifts (layers)
- Heavy machine compaction (sheepsfoot/vibratory)
- Coordination with geotechnical engineers
